Upcycled, redesigned, and repurposed, are all buzz words for what I have a passion for, and what I’ve been doing most of my life.  I see the potential and beauty in discarded and forgotten items.  It could be an old hutch that needs a paint job, a rundown farm house in need of tlc, or a weedy patch of ground in need of blooms and a bench.  I love creating something that is better and more beautiful than it ever was.

I love redesigning clothing from thrift stores.  There are so many beautiful silks, patterns, and colors, just begging for a little creativity.  With some ingenuity, I find a way to make these items trendy, wearable, and better than ever.  The cost is minimal and these items avoid landfills.  It’s the ultimate in eco-friendly clothing design.

Whether you’re updating an existing wardrobe or creating a couture work of art (or just looking for fun), I hope this gives a fresh and different perspective to what can be accomplished for pennies on the dollar.  I’m excited to be sharing my ideas and techniques.  I’m bursting with ideas that I  hope will inspire.
